Windows, BOINC 7.4.42 x86
Also, it can't then re-connect to local host (with empty connection dialogue).
And entering IP/host name is real pain - letters appear by one for few seconds.

Definitely not correct behavior here.

EDIT: and seems it was some interaction with long-running BOINCTasks on background.

Boinc manager restart didn't help but killing all BONC manager, BOINC tasks and BOINCtasks monitor processes and restarting BOINC allowed both connection to remote host and removed this slowdown. So some issues with GUI when other instance doing RPC with client perhaps. Still worth to debug this...
