I'd like to have BOINC data stored on a hard drive on another amchine in my local area network, is that possible?

No, that's not possible with the BOINC client.

In Windows, that's a standard option in screen 3 during install. (Click the Advanced button.)

Thanks, I guess if I already installed it I would have to use a program like: 'Link Shell Extension' and then move the folder to the other drive and then create a soft link at the old location.

I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the file or folder where Boinc stores the projects.
