Since I updated my Laptop (Core2Duo T7200 @2,0GHz ,1GB) from XP32pro to Vista 64 Ultimate, my Benchmark is reduced to the half (eg Whetstones 1953=>938 and Dhrystones 4369=>2773).
What did I do wrong or where´s the problem?
Thx in advance
Max

I've fought that battle on a laptop... it was the herzes kiddo, the herzes.

First change to make in Windows is to visit the W7 Power Management and change the preset to max performance. If it's an older laptop that had a label on it such as "Vista Ready", be prepared to do a bit more hacking. My lap-brand maker was not supporting the upgrade I did, but managed to get all in, sneaking some parts actually over from Vista such as Video drivers to get my wide screen hi-res back, drivers from that lap-brand maker :P.
