Hi all, just starting using boinc some weeks ago som im still very new to it.

Ive got the BOINC 6.10.58 client.
The newest 260 Nvidia driver.

Ive made a config file like this
<cc_config>
    <options>
        <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
    </options>
</cc_config>

from notepad and named it cc_config.xml

Should be right? Windows and nvidia control panel recognizes both gpu's.

Strangely BOINC started using the latest gpu that was installed today. The 460 that is. It have been running fine on my 480 gpu but when i installed the second gpu that gpu got the workload somehow. Running einstein@home uses approx 6% of my 460 gpu. And my 480 is doing nothing..

Can anyone shed som light on this matter? :)

PS: Sorry for bad english, not my mother language.

It would indeed be meaningful for someone with a similar problem, if you would explain, what was going on and what was your solution.

Well, firstly i had put the cc_config.XML file in the wrong directory. I placed it in the intall directory, not the Data directory, secondly i had not been able to make the file made from notepad into a XML file. It was just a .txt file with .XML ending so BOINC wouldnt read it. Once i got that right, i made boinc read it, and the messages said "use all coprocessors" or something like that, but the client still didn't run both GPU's.
I quitted the client and shutdown the WU's and restarted boinc and it worked :)

Well, then just... have fun with both GPUs ;-)
