Hi all! I realize this may be a very simple problem, but as a novice to BOINC I'm not sure how else to find the answer.

I've been running BOINC on my Mac (OSX, Intel Core) for a few weeks now. I went away for the weekend, leaving the computer on, and when I came back my current project's progress was at something like 130%. After quitting the software and restarting the computer, it still hasn't begun a new project, and the current one is now up to 176.8%. As far as I know, there was no interruption in internet service while I was gone.

Is this abnormal? How do I fix it? Do I need to reinstall the software or will it resolve on its own?

Thanks in advance for your time.

I'm tempted to say that "the WCG project's HCMD2 task behaved like this" and "this BOINC version should be fine regarding the behavior". But as I do not know the progress% behavior of the WCG apps and how long is the task expected to be crunched at most (the average is said to be 04:12:27 hours), let's hear an opinion of some of the WCG enthusiast...

Maybe you should also ask on the World Community Grid Forums.
