I'd like to request that the BOINC software package be delivered via Flatpak in the future. This would make it easier for Linux users to install and be able to participate in the project using latest edition regardless of which Linux distribution they're on. Is there someone on the team that I could inquire with about helping on this front? Thank you!

Github is where the developers hang out.

Edit: Unless you mean being able to get it from Ikea?

While I have no problem if any of this work is done,
I certainly hope they're not replacing the standard installation client with flatpack alternatives!
Every other day there's a new sort of installation method, like with snap or other, and then it turns out they weren't as good as they thought, and many just uninstall the crapware that makes Linux more bloated.

I'm wondering if this is more of a solution in search of a problem.
