Hello.

Does anyone know how to limit usage of laptop GPU to not burn it?? If it's possible I would gladly reduce usage of GPU to 30% because if it's running on 100% the temperatures jumping above 100 C. If it's not possible - does anyone know why developers of BOINC didn't found that such feature in laptops is must-have due to limited cooling efficiency of cooling system?? Is there any way to point them this issue??

I'll appreciate any advice.

Simple, don't crunch on the gpu. Don't select gpu applications in your projects.

Nvidia and AMD GPUs can be throttled, by either reducing the power or reducing the voltage towards the IGP.
Another option is to reduce the amount of CPU threads to crunch on, esp if you have an Intel IGP.
Intel IGPs are often just as fast as the entire CPU, so reducing the CPU's threads to half the amount, can reduce it's temps by quite a bit, without losing too many points.
I myself have an Intel Celeron CPU, and crunch on GPU, but reduce the CPU threads to 2 (from 2 cores, 4 threads).
The temps stay at around 80-85C that way.
