Got water cooling for first time when I bought my Ryzen. Don't overclock but running all eight real cores flat out most of the time, my theory is the CPU is likely to last longer.

Can't find the source ATM but I once read that if you keep the temperature 10 degrees lower than the max temp allowed by the manufacturer this usually doubles the lifetime of a CPU/GPU.
In addition, avoid peaks (up as well as down).
