I have read the help pages but really need some help understanding what Show User Average is and Show Host Average is?
On my PC both graphs are a steep downward trend and I do not understand why?
The help pages mention "credits" but I am not sure what these are either
I would be very grateful for some plain English help / explanation and should I make any changes to stop these graphs trending downwards

Simplest one to explain is "Credits" - these are points awarded by a project for the work you have done for that project.
As the basis for awarding credits varies between projects it is not a simple task to compare the numbers between projects.

Averages are generally over a period of time which a matter of days or weeks depending which project and where you are looking. On some views you will see a very sharp drop during a day, which gradually returns to normal during the day. This is because at the start of the day (24 hour accounting period) you've done very little work in that period and thus the average is low, but by the end of the day you've done a day's worth of work.


For example, let's say you've been getting 24 credits during a day from one project, thus the average for a day is 24. At one hour into the day you've done 1 credit's worth of work, so you gain one credit, which means the average for that day is 1, which is much lower than your normal 24; come back a few hours later, and you've done 6 credits worth of work, and now your average for that day is 6; come back at the end of the day and you've done 24 credits worth of work on that project.
Then there is another consideration - the project may vary the rate at which credits are awarded so everything goes crazy (up or down) for a period of time....
