I have installed BOINC Version, 7.20.2, which according to my Task Manager is "BOINC Manager for Windows (11)", however my OS is Windows 10.

I notice in my Task Manager, I have 3 instances of "lasieve5f_1.11_windows_x86_64" running under BOINC, which is taking up quite a lot of memory, approx 300MB, which in turn takes up approx 95% of memory - I run BOINC on this particular PC at nighttime, so the memory doesn't really matter.

My question is - As my OS is Windows 10, why do I get Windows 11 applications ("lasieve5f_1.1...) downloaded to my PC?

You are confusing the application version number with Windows versioning.

There are no separate applications for different versions of Windows.

Any version of Windows can run any Windows x64 version application generally. Windows 7, 10 or 11 doesn't matter.
