This is for Boinc and project writers with this in mind: Those who have machines just to crunch.
- May as well get all we can from a crunch box.

1) A list of default settings for a project for those who change them and want to go back, supposing the defaults are done with the cruncher in mind.

2) These could be put on the setting pages:
I feel some projects work better with different settings for these:
% virtual memory(ram size dependant),
leave in memory while pre-empted(xxx dependant),
write to disk at most x secs:(ram dependant?)
a) if the above is true, we will need more than a home, work, school... setting.
- we may need those options under the project specific settings. OR if well presented, and if it matters, we can divide projects up based on needs and have different boxes doing 'grouped' projects.

3) Due to the short time requirement of some projects, can we get an option to change:
a) after each wu, and just do our best on the time share.
b) after a flag point is reached, and just do our best on...
c) if the above is done, can it be documented on the setting pages please?

There are many possibilities that can be of benefit.
Like I say, the default should be best suited for someone who uses their computer for other things:
work, school, as a server...

thanks. :)
