Can't swear to it, but I really don't think so. Ah, but with such a confusing thing, you have to be able to swear on it. Or at it. ;-) I wrote an email to David. Let's see if he can make heads or tails from it. I couldn't... |

I often find myself swearing at the SuSE box, but the platform tool we use there, (Code Forge), doesn't seem to speak my language! I've subscribed to the threwad so I'll see if anything needs doing or any further research is required. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

David asks if we post it to the BOINC Developers email list. Anyone who knows what the bug does who wants to take it up to them? Else just leave it here and I'll post it there. |

Yes, I'll do it. I'll report back here if I have any problem doing so. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

As I've noted on the mentioned CPDN beta forum thread, both "usual" sorting settings are working fine for me, or, "as expected". BUT when I select the third option "Highest rated posts first" I can see exactly what adrianxw and mo.v describe: thread begins with first many messages, then the WRONGLY placed gap "Only the first post and the last 75 posts (of the xxx posts in this thread) are displayed. Click here to also display the remaining posts." and finally the newest (or "most recent") post. Peter |

I've put a link to this thread in my report to the dev list, so it should be noted. Thanks for the input. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Thanks for explaining it all, Adrian. |
