Just created my profile but wasn't content. So I went back to my account and selected view profile. But there is no link/button to enter edit mode (as is at seti). Okay, back to my account and delete profile. After creating a new profile, I again select view profile, but there is the old content. (I tried it several times.) I'm using IE6 under win xp. Did you also force an update on the browser cache? I had that yesterday with a picture, it took me 3 times a CTRL + F5 (Firefox here) to get it to show correctly. So try to force an update of the cache, or delete the cache then load the page again. |

First of all: Where are you trying this.... at Einstein or here at the Berkeley support forum? The setting preferences for computing is meaningless as this is just a discussion site using the standard BOINC forum software. There is no computing here. Else, there is still at the bottom of the section you wnat to change either an Update button or a Edit Preferences link. I'm trying it here at boinc. And I don't want to change preferences, I want to change my profile. Did you also force an update on the browser cache? I had that yesterday with a picture, it took me 3 times a CTRL + F5 (Firefox here) to get it to show correctly. So try to force an update of the cache, or delete the cache then load the page again. Yeah, that seems to solve both problems. The changed text and the "edit profile" link are now visible. Thanks, Jord. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) |
