I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I am interested in creating a project to test the infinite monkey theorem. I figure BOINC would be a perfect place to test this out, as it has many computers that could be used in place of real monkeys. So I started to think about this, and I have run into a problem; validation. Since the "monkeys", or computers, would be thoretically churning out random characters, there would be no obvious way of validating the results; someone might just paste a work of Shakespeare to tamper with the results. I would like to know if anyone would have any idea on how to resolve this issue. |
