Hello, I've been trying to set up a boinc server, and I've covered all the steps so far until the: Getting the server system up and running. I'm following this: http://www.boinc-wiki.info/Creating_a_Project_-_Getting_the_server_system_up_and_running And when I input this into the terminal: cat $PROJECTNAME.httpd.conf >> /path/to/httpd.conf I get the following error... -bash: /etc/init.d/httpd.conf: Permission denied Any ideas? I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 |

Thanks for the reply, I already tried using root, so I'm sure Chuck Norris will be happy to hear that (haha). I'll give it another go though. |

Alrite, I got the system up, but if you go to: http://server1.owenashurst.com/BoincPI It just shows the directory. Also, adding the project in boinc displays an error.. 30/11/2011 20:21:39||Fetching configuration file from http://192.168.0.100/BoincPI/get_project_config.php |
